Hebrews 1
‘God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom He also made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, to the extent that He has inherited a more excellent name than they. For to which of the angels did He ever say, “Y ou are M y S on , T oday I have fathered Y ou ”? And again, “I will be a F ather to H im A nd H e will be a S on to M e ”? And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, “A nd let all the angels of G od worship H im .” And regarding the angels He says, “H e makes H is angels winds , A nd H is ministers a flame of fire .” But regarding the Son He says, “Y our throne , G od , is forever and ever , A nd the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of H is kingdom . “Y ou have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness ; T herefore G od , Y our G od , has anointed Y ou W ith the oil of joy above Y our companions .” And, “Y ou , L ord , in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth , A nd the heavens are the works of Y our hands ; T hey will perish , but Y ou remain ; A nd they all will wear out like a garment , A nd like a robe Y ou will roll them up ; L ike a garment they will also be changed . B ut Y ou are the same , A nd Y our years will not come to an end .” But to which of the angels has He ever said, “S it at M y right hand , U ntil I make Y our enemies A footstool for Y our feet ”? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to provide service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?’
